There were people from around the country including Dan Rather and his family. The food was outstanding, the property is beautiful, and the folks were quite friendly.

Thanksgiving at Woodland Plantation
We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving 30 miles downriver from New Orleans at the Woodland Plantation in West Pointe a la Hache. We stayed in a comfortable room in the big house, and dined in Spirits Hall which is an old church that was moved to the property and refurbished as a wonderful dining room/ banquet hall.
There were people from around the country including Dan Rather and his family. The food was outstanding, the property is beautiful, and the folks were quite friendly.
