Shreveport Historic Districts - a Thanksgiving Day tour
On a beautiful fall Thanksgiving Day, we drove through several of the historic districts of Shreveport, LA. We started at the 800 block of Texas Ave., through the Downtown Commercial HD, past the Oakland Cemetery, stopped for a picnic lunch in the St. Paul's Bottoms, then through the Highland HD and Fairfield HD. On a future trip, we will visit the South Highlands HD. It was a grand way to enjoy this Thanksgiving, 11/27/2014.
