In the next few days you will see many photos and videos from a great party. Paul Smith, preservation consultant, gave great tours of the district on the A-Town trolley focused on the architectural aspects of selected houses in the district. Taking It 2 the Street provided super entertainment from so many talented performers and story tellers. Keep your eye on our district website as we share some views of the celebration - http://www.midcenturyalex.org/ .

Post-War Suburbs Historic District Celebration
What a special day it was as we celebrated the Alexandria Post-War Suburbs Historic District. If you were there, you were a part of history. Neighbors throughout the district came together, and we were joined by friends throughout the community and other parts of CENLA. Thanks to all for being a part of it! And special thanks to Megan Lord and the Alexandria Historic Preservation Commission for making it happen!
