A Fall Day in Natchitoches

In mid morning we decided to drive an hour north for lunch in Natchitoches, the oldest settlement in Louisiana, founded in 1714.  After a tasty meal at Merci Beaucoup of Cajun potato (Stuffed potato topped with crawfish etoufee and a jumbo shrimp), we admired the fall decorations along Front Street overlooking the Cane River.
