Up North Michigan

We enjoyed a wonderful 8 day visit to Lake Charlevoix and the Leelenau Peninsula in Michigan at the end of May into June.  We stayed in a condo for 3 days in Boyne City overlooking Lake Charlevoix, and in a great apartment in Leland about 100 yards from Fishtown, an historic fishing village which is still active.

Enjoy this photo album which includes scenes around

  • Boyne City, Petoskey, and Charlevoix (first three days)
  • Leland, Northport, Lake Leelenau, Traverse City, and the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore
This area has many good wineries, great restaurants, many lakes, beautiful countryside, and very friendly people.  We shall return!
