Embracing a new hometown

Today's edition of The Town Talk featured a very nice article which we greatly appreciate.  The paper is doing a series of perspectives of relative newcomers to Alexandria, and we were humbled to be the first to be featured, providing the perspective of a couple of retirees who moved from another part of the country.  The photo was taken in the patio of the Alexandria Museum of Art; AMOA is a great museum in our downtown.

Neighborhood listed on National Register of Historic Places

Louisiana's first mid-century modern historic district is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  It has been very rewarding working with the Alexandria Historic Preservation Commission to communicate with our neighbors as the proposal has now become a reality.
